Wesley Leon Aroozoo curates a variety of film screenings and events for organisations such as The Substation. He believes strongly in creating platforms to share the works of young artists with the public, creating a community and to bring awareness.

The Substation 3rd Experimental Film Forum
Previously moderating a session at the 2nd Experimental Film Forum, Wesley curated the Singapore Section of the 3rd Experimental Film Forum at the Substation. Wesley curated a selection of refreshing local video works featuring filmmakers mainly under the age of 21.

VIDEOvoiddeck minimART
Wesley is the creator and curator of the VIDEOvoiddeck series for minimART at the Substation. With VIDEOvoiddeck, Wesley created a platform for young filmmakers. It ran successfully ran at the Substation for 4 years, screening over 100 local and international videos works from filmmakers such as Liao Jiekai, Martin Hong and Ghazi Alqudcy.

SEED Festival
Wesley curated the film selection for the SEED Festival at the Arts House in 2011. The film selection premiered new works from Daniel Hui, Martin Hong and favourites from Loo Zihan and the Zhuang Brothers.

My Arts Space
Wesley curated a selection of films revolving around the idea of ‘Love’ for the Heart Shape Box event held at My Arts Space. Films included Swing by Leon Cheo and I Want to Remember by Sherman Ong.
