Wesley Leon Aroozoo nurtures new generations of creative minds with his role as a long-service award lecturer in the Degree in Film and Diploma in Broadcast Media programmes at LASALLE College of the Arts. He also oversees and wrote the filmmaking module for the very first introduction of elective modules available in LASALLE College of the Arts. As an educator, Wesley specialises in teaching Scriptwriting, Literary Art to Film Adaptations, Film Production (Documentary, Fiction, Music Videos etc), Creative Writing, Film and Television History, Experimental Filmmaking, Industry and Community Collaborations.

Wesley has also taught at Nanyang Technological University (School of Art, Design and Media). In 2021, Wesley also received his Certification of Completion for Crisis Response and Intervention in the Classroom.

Wesley received his Master of Fine Arts in Dramatic Writing from New York University and his Bachelor of Fine Arts (with honours) from Nanyang Technological University. He is currently pursuing his PhD at RMIT University in the school of Media and Communication.
